10/14/2020 Using Rsa_generate_key_ex
RSAgeneratekeyex documentation I've been looking all over for this, and I can't find it. Background - I'm trying to build stunnel on a platform that doesn't include RSAgeneratekey, so I need to modify it to use. For 2.3, this has been changed to RSAgeneratekeyex, and for 2.4, the whole code path is gone as it would only be used for weak ciphers that we don't want in the first place. Note: See TracTickets for help on using. How to Use OpenSSL to Generate RSA Keys in C/C Xiao Ling / February 27, 2014 October 29, 2019 / Security / C/C, OpenSSL, RSA 5 comments It is known that RSA is a cryptosystem which is used for the security of data transmission. You can use the TRIVIAL method, as shown by fkraiem. This generates uniform results, but does use a lot of RNG calls, as Ilmari pointed out. In practice this may be a non-issue or may be very important (e.g. Getting results from /dev/random may stall; getting good.

Neither RSA_generate_key.html nor RSA_generate_key_ex.html were created. Looking in doc/crypto, RSA_generate_key_ex.pod is not present (although RSA_generate_key.pod is). Hardly surprising that people are using the old API. I'll try e-mailing [hidden email] to report this.
